Draetrialis, still wearing his armor, flew over the Rebellion lands, dodging griffins left and right, as well as tons of archers. Eventually, he got to the aviaries and landed, but did nothing to attack. Several large griffins landed and approached him. "Why are you here, Shadow of Ammon?" the largest asked him. Bowing his head, he growled, "I must see the gray and black griffiness, who currently is rather burned. I have a few tasks that I must perform, and I had wrongfully attacked her when she went to Alion lake, due to my hatred of you... One of the tasks I must do involves apologizing. As much as I wish to destroy you all, I swear that I will make no move to do so, beyond a few clawmarks in the stone, and I will leave once I am finished." The griffins looked at eachother and clicked in their language, and though Draetrialis could understand them, he didn't pay any attention. After a few minutes, the head griffin said, "Fine. Ceana will be alerted." and flew off. So, her name is Ceana... the dragon mused. He looked up, barely containing a roar. As much as I want to, I cannot kill her or any other griffin... he chanted to himself, determined to not lose his mind.

Ceana woke up from her restless sleep when she heard one of her higher ranking commanders calling her name outside. What is it this time... She stood up groggily and shook herself, wincing at her burnt flank. "What is it you want, Wincent?" She said as she put on her beaded necklace of her fighting wing and her neck pouch. "I cannot tell you exactly, just come. Someone is here to see you." Her claws clicked as she listened to the gruff voice outside that responded. Well, Wincent does have a rather gruff and raspy voice. Ever since his accident with the archers, I mean I'm not the only one who can gotten caught in the line of fire of Ammon. She walked outside her cave and immediately hissed, her hackles rising as she saw the dragon waiting outside. "What are you doing here? I would rip you limb from limb for attacking me but my burnt flank is the only thing stopping me." But her threat was followed by a tackle, something she managed to do without much movement of her sore side. "You bastard! Why are you here, to finish me off? Well it won't work, this time you'd be fighting the entire Griffin population!" She said, forgetting that he might not be able to understand her language. "Get off him, he's not here to kill you Ceana. He's here to do something else. Draetrialis, please tell Ceana why you are here." Wincent gruffly demanded. So, Wincent is on this bastard's side. So be it, but why did he come here?

Amused, Draetrialis replied, in fluent Griffin, "You would have the right to rip me to shreds, but I am here to apologize. I'm sorry I attacked you. I was angry, at both the dragoness, Lin, for trespassing, but as well as you for just being a griffin. I already revealed that I hate griffins do to the incident I had, but I am forced to put that aside..." His claws did indeed cut into the stone. "I have to swallow my pride here... I have already accepted the face I am a bastard, but that doesn't mean I don't have a sense of honor, as corrupted as it may be. One of the many tasks I have to do is to apologize, and I have done that. If there is anything you want to say, then say it. Don't expect a violent response." He curled his tail around his legs, still digging into the stone as he indirectly admired the she-griffin's bravery. He let out a slight growl when a young griffin got too close, but otherwise did nothing. This is worth it... just don't do anything and I'll be fine... he muttered to himself. A few of the older griffins did sit there, stunned that he spoke their language so well, and one of them even collapsed, such was the shock. The hatchlings were merely curious and a few climbed on him, though the dragon wanted to fry them, oh so dearly. A couple of the hatchlings soon got smart and left him alone.

Ceana glanced around and watched as a crowd formed around her and Drae. Well, at least if he was to attack me again, he'd quickly be restrained and most likely permanently put to rest by the older Griffins. So...I can either accept his apology or I can milk this. Well, I do need some money...since the medical care needed for my flank isn't going to pay for itself. She glared at the Dragon responsible for her pain, her side burning when her leg twitched slightly. She was a little impressed by his display of knowledge of languages but took no real care into the trifling matter. "Fine, so be it. But I will only accept your sincerity and apology if you can pay for the damage you've done. Just because I live in the Rebellion Camp doesn't mean that money is exactly easy to obtain." Her eyes stared daggers through the creature in front of her. But she momentarily took her eyes off of the confusing Dragon to check how much money she had in her neck pouch. I barely have enough money to get one day of the treatment that I need, let alone the complete week (at least) that I need to make sure its properly taken care of. I also might need bandages, but that will only cost more.

The dragon growled, but bowed his head. "I thought you might want that... Fine." he muttered before bringing his paw in front of Ceana and flared it, causing a few hundred gems of various types to slide out of his armored sleeve. "That should be enough... plus a few extra." He turned and took a few steps forward, flaring his wings. "Pray that we don't meet on the battlefield again, because I will not have to do this next time... and I won't hold back, even if I have to fight through the entire Rebellion." he growled before taking off, flying in the vague direction of Ammon territory. That is unnatural... Me apologizing to a griffin... but I do have sympathy for the helpless. Shame for her that she isn't helpless. he thought, chuckling to himself as he headed for the castle, knowing he would have to report in to Lin. That exhausted my lesser gems... I better not owe anymore until I replenish my stock... GAH! If Lin weren't so important to Valerie, I'd tear her heart out and devour it!! Drae stewed with anger his entire flight. He roared, "Why is it I change now!?!" Several birds flew away from the trees as he approached the castle grounds.
