Draetrialis went deeper into his cave, down a hidden path where his trove lies. He shifted through the gems and gold before he pulled out the largest gems of each type he had. He had a sapphire, emerald, ruby, and diamond, each 6 inches across. He had stored a ton of energy into each of them, so there was a tempest in each, threatening to shatter the jewels to pieces. He placed them in his box and hid it in a small, dark alcove in the bottom of the small mountain of gems. Content, he quickly dug around for his special armor. Eventually, the dragon found his full plate dragon armor, slightly larger than it needed to be, in case he grew some more. After an hour putting it on, he placed some charged gems into the slots in his armor, on his bracers. He focused and closed the other slots before diving into the water and heading off to the castle. He landed in the garden where the incident occured the day before.
He saw that Valerie did try to fix it up, so he carved a rune underneath the bench, and with a bright flash, the bench was whole and sound, clean of all blood. He quickly carved another rune that erased the blood from the ground before he went to the Main Garden. He carved a rune of nutrients and repair under the rose bushes, draining his gems, and the roses not only were totally repaired, but now about 2 twice the size they were before. Pleased with his work, he faded into invisibility. When the gardeners came out, he revealed himself, scaring the crap out of them, literally in the case of one of them, and he growled, "I will offer you each a small gem, about 200 gold apiece, if you forget about the damage that was here..." After a minute of conversation, the gardeners all nodded and Draetrialis dropped 10 gems from his bracers to the ground, one from each of the gardeners, and they picked them up and eagerly left. Sighing again, he flew towards the village, flying over the pool on purpose.
